MVP Mission Immersion

A REQUEST OF ALL TEACHING & RULING ELDERS!
God has a call for Muskingum Valley Presbytery!
We are to journey with Jesus to touch the world! Empowered by the Spirit: to make disciples, nurture our faith, and serve the needs of the community.
To that end, MVP exists and is called to:
-
Equip and encourage leaders and congregations to live their call,
-
Nourish and build spiritually and emotionally healthy congregations,
-
Nurture, challenge, and support disciples to be Christ in the world.
In the last decade, MVP has undergone significant transition. Over half of our congregations have been in transition, calling new pastors, and living into new ways of being. Over the same time, our communities have also been changing. Given this, Council believes that it would be helpful for us to take some time apart.
While short notice, we ask that you - the teaching and ruling elders of presbytery - join us on a Mission Immersion on June 3-5 at the Weber Center in Adrian, Michigan that we might:

Nurture our relationship in Christ;

Celebrate the gifts God has given us;
-
Develop a ministry strategy canvas as we heed God’s call.
We look forward to the time apart.
